Winter Festivals of Mongolia is a truly magnificent travel experience for this winter. Attending Golden Eagle Festival offers tournaments testing the agility and speed of hunter Eagles. Kazakh Eagle hunters show their abilities and skills of training of their Eagles and colourful Kazakh outfits. This year, the Golden Eagle Festival takes place close to Gobi’s famous Thousand Camel Festival. Mongolia is home to the majority of the World’s Bactrian camels. People from the Gobi Desert proudly organise annual camel festivals to promote camel culture and to preserve an age-old nomadic way of living.
