The Government of Mongolia has announced an extension of its visa-free travel policy, allowing citizens of selected countries to enter Mongolia for stays of up to 30 days through the end of 2026.

Under this policy, nationals of 34 countries will remain exempt from tourist visa requirements when traveling to Mongolia for short-term visits in 2026. The list includes countries across Europe as well as Australia and New Zealand. The policy is intended to facilitate easier travel and strengthen cultural exchange.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, the visa exemption applies strictly to tourism purposes and permits stays of up to 30 days. Travelers planning longer stays or non-tourism activities are advised to check applicable visa regulations in advance.
