Tsagaan Suvraga’s scarp is situated in Dundgobi province’s Ulziit soum. The slopes look like ruins of the ancient city from the distance. The cliff is 100 meters wide (328 ft) and 30 meters high (98 ft).
Millions of years ago Dundgovi province was located at the bottom of the sea. The limestone formations are the perfect evidence. The sea has dried up a long time ago, and since then the ancient seabed structures have been eroded by the wind that eventually changed its colors and forms. There are two interesting spots to explore in here, one is Khevtee Bosoo Agui (Lie and Stand Cave), and the other is the Del Uul (Back Mountain) which is famous for the largest Bronze Age drawings found in Central Asia.
